Let the journey begin!

This blog contains the thoughts and ideas of four Scarborough College pupils on a period of work experience within the Olga Gudynn International School Bucharest, in the July summer holiday.

Firstly to introduce ourselves: Niall Collinson (aged 16), Eleanor Harvey (aged 17 , Deputy Head of Scarborough College 2015-16), Matthew Harris (aged 18, Senior Prefect of Scarborough College 2014-15) and Hanna Hagemann (aged 18, Deputy Head of Scarborough College 2014-2015).

Secondly a little bit about Scarborough College: 

The College is an independent boarding school located in North Yorkshire's Scarborough. It provides education for pupils aged between 3-18 years old, including GCSEs and the International Baccalaureate for Sixth Form students. (www.scarboroughcollege.co.uk)

Finally some background information on Olga Gudynn International School: 

The school was founded by Olga Gudynn in 2001 and is located in the Pipera district of Bucharest with smaller nurseries and other institutions throughout the city. The school caters for students aged 6-14 with nurseries for younger pupils and all teaching is bilingual with focus on Romanian and English. (www.olgagudynn.ro)
